Couple Projects in Progress

Hey there, me again. Aren't you all goddamn happy. Don't say you aren't, it might break my heart. There's a couple new projects that I've been working on, as well as one I can't really reveal just yet. I will in due time, of course.


First we have a desktop wallpaper I made for a friend that turned out pretty damn good. It's called "Prioritize Probes." Starcraft fans, anyone?  (Here's a nice link to the probe itself)

Second is also a wallpaper, one I also made for a friend on TeamLiquid. I made it real quick so I just call it "Azera". Enjoy how simple and blue it is. :D

 

Third is a look at a work-in-progress of mine, "Genis in Scarf." I'm going to be redrawing the entire thing, so get a good look now.

Last I can show is another work-in-progress that I'll be putting into my Portfolio. It's called "Impulse - Lichten", and its based on the more abstract works of Roy Lichtenstein.

Look What I Found (On The Internet) Art Compendium [UPDATE]

Here's an update that didn't take eons. Happy day.

Just had a thought go through me: "I used to do a webcomic. Why don't I post some of that on my art blog?" Then I realized how crap it was. I'll put it up anyway, and update this accordingly if I happen to find inks or old unfinished ones stashed away in my drive. As well as a giant link, on the off-chance one would bookmark it or read it in sequential form. So, without further ado, here is the Look What I Found Art Compendium post.

Did I die? Nope!

Well that was a whole lot of nothing that happened. 2012 was such a bust. Over the winter, I've gotten sick, been home and back, and got my car utterly destroyed. Good times, right? Also Skyrim happened to me, and I forgot what sleep was as a result (I looked it up online, pretty sure it's about lying down in the dark for hours).

Oh well, have an image I did months ago while I try to get my tablet back as well as buy a new tablet pen. Even when I get my tablet back, I can't do anything with it. Cheers.

Tried making a character without outlines. Forgot what I named him.

Destroy Deviantart account, create Art Blog

Just made it up today, but since I'm constantly working or procrastinating said work; I won't really be able to fully update this new blogling until I finish up the stockpile of work on my plate. I'll do my best to at least get all my old art up at least.

A bit about me, as I've not properly introduced myself: My name is Matthew Alexander James, and I'm a Sequential Art student of SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). I try to draw as often as I can, sandwiched between playing video games, schoolwork (which is often about drawing), and following StarCraft 2 eSports (which is often about watching video games). Thrilling, isn't it?

I'll be sure to post as readily as I can, but I'll post something to give a taste of what I do. Enjoy yourselves, everyone! <3
