Genis Scarf

Remember that post I did a while back with a red-haired guy? Well I finally had a chance to touch it up. and now it looks pretty awesome and eye-hurty. Check it out.

View it in full-size and have your eyes trip out! Running theme I guess!

That's some high-res awesome now. If you want to see the original and the old inking, check it out with that "Read More" I keep hearing about.

Orrick With Dots

Messing around with Illustrator can be fun. Enjoy this little experiment with black and whites and patterns, featuring Orrick (this guy!). He doesn't smile much.

View it in full-size and see all the dots and circles!

On a unrelated note, schoolwork is a total pain in the ass. Til next time! <3 Also another one!

There is no such thing as Overdroning.

Hey everyone. Another couple of weeks, a new little something while I'm studying in Hell. Its a direct sequel to the Probe, the Drone! (and as always, here is just the drone itself) Also, thanks to this, I had enough Starcraft content to be on TeamLiquid's Artist Directory! Yay~

Hope you enjoy, its Finals Week over here! It's wallpaper-sized too for all you peeps that want that!

Also, fun fact: It almost looked like this:
This terrified my girlfriend for looking like a garbage disposal monster.

PylarioWare: For Aiur and WARIO!

You know what happens when I draw something ridiculous and I don't quite know what to do with it? That's right, I break out Illustrator and make an ass out of myself. A little sketch in my sketchbook turned into this nonsense: Wario from Warioware as a Pylon from Starcraft/SC2. Because I like a lot of things that have nothing to do with each other.

(Also the Really Big Version)
Enjoy (As best you can)! Also it looks really different from the sketch version, which you can find by hitting "Read More".

Fly Mango. Charming.

I haven't put much up lately, so have something I did for class. Meet "Fly Mango". He's a guitar-playing flamingo from Florida. He likes Mangos. Bam, there's your kid's show. Enjoy.

Team Fallacy's New Logo

I guess I can reveal that now, I've certainly been bragging about it long enough. I've worked with Team Fallacy and the long and short of all that is that I made them a new logo to look all the more professional for the budding NA Starcraft 2 team. The whole story would bore you. I lied, the whole story is I said I'd do it as a favor to their manager, ThomasjServo, and as time would go on for the project, he decided to pay me after I was done. How nice of him. Go support esports.

Anyway, here's that sexy new logo for all of you to see.

Oh yes. It's so sexy it belongs on a team jersey on a bunch of mostly-American gamers.

Pretty nice, huh? You don't have to say so. I know. Don't worry. I'll go into more detail after the jump

Have a bunch of Impulse works.

Impulse stuff is probably the best I have to offer, and since I'm stuck doing finals work I decided to just go through older stuff and post it anyway. I don't know if it's easier to put these all in at once or one at a time, but old stuff is old and its not getting up here any sooner.

Here is a project I've shown before, "Lichten", where I take heavy influence from the more abstract style employed by Roy Lichtenstein. Still trying to figure out what more I could do to it to make it closer to his style. We'll see how that goes.

...

This one is called "Abstraction". When I had a DeviantArt, this was the first piece good enough to make into a print. Why? I cant imagine. I really wanted to blend abstract (or what I perceived to be abstract at the time) with my kind of style at the time, while making an image that prompted thought and had a cool visual flow. Also there's a rumor that I went insane. I started that rumor. Why? Cause I was just so sane. I was inside of sanity. In Sane, one would say. What was I talking about. OH YES also this was the first time I did Impulse in colour, as best as I remember. So that happened.

...
I recently discovered that I drew this at all. It's called "Meaning", and I everything about this thing makes me think I made this one when I was an entirely different person. I remember wanting to make a piece that used clashing colours to make it seem interesting, but honestly the whole thing makes it look like someone else did it. Only I can be intimidated by my own artwork. Skill.

...

Long time ago, me and a couple friends from another college made a little radio show called "Mic Check" and the host wanted me to make a piece for the show, while giving me no information whatsoever. So I did what I usually do in that situation: Proceed to draw whatever the hell makes it out of my skull. Also limited palette. Fun Fact: On the radio show, we mostly talked about bullshit.

Couple Projects in Progress

Hey there, me again. Aren't you all goddamn happy. Don't say you aren't, it might break my heart. There's a couple new projects that I've been working on, as well as one I can't really reveal just yet. I will in due time, of course.

First we have a desktop wallpaper I made for a friend that turned out pretty damn good. It's called "Prioritize Probes." Starcraft fans, anyone?  (Here's a nice link to the probe itself)

http://i.imgur.com/02YfHLM.png

Second is also a wallpaper, one I also made for a friend on TeamLiquid. I made it real quick so I just call it "Azera". Enjoy how simple and blue it is. :D

Third is a look at a work-in-progress of mine, "Genis in Scarf." I'm going to be redrawing the entire thing, so get a good look now.

Last I can show is another work-in-progress that I'll be putting into my Portfolio. It's called "Impulse - Lichten", and its based on the more abstract works of Roy Lichtenstein.

And with that, I'll see you all next time. Enjoy the pieces and let me know what you think.

Look What I Found (On The Internet) Art Compendium [UPDATE]

Here's an update that didn't take eons. Happy day.

Just had a thought go through me: "I used to do a webcomic. Why don't I post some of that on my art blog?" Then I realized how crap it was. I'll put it up anyway, and update this accordingly if I happen to find inks or old unfinished ones stashed away in my drive. As well as a giant link, on the off-chance one would bookmark it or read it in sequential form. So, without further ado, here is the Look What I Found Art Compendium post.

Did I die? Nope!

Well that was a whole lot of nothing that happened. 2012 was such a bust. Over the winter, I've gotten sick, been home and back, and got my car utterly destroyed. Good times, right? Also Skyrim happened to me, and I forgot what sleep was as a result (I looked it up online, pretty sure it's about lying down in the dark for hours).

Oh well, have an image I did months ago while I try to get my tablet back as well as buy a new tablet pen. Even when I get my tablet back, I can't do anything with it. Cheers.
Tried making a character without outlines. Forgot what I named him.
